Safari 3 Now Available in Windows XP and Windows Vista
Good news for Web designers and Web developers! Apple has announced the availability of its Web browser, Safari in Windows XP and Windows Vista operating systems.
Safari 3 for Windows XP and Windows Vista is in its public beta stages.

But oh no.. another browser to optimize your pages for… I have a hard enough time getting my pages to look right in both IE and FireFox.. but now I will have to worry about Safari too.

IE has about 70% of the Web browser market share
Firefox has 15%-30%
Safari has around 2%-3%.
So yeah, I agree. Safari is another browser we’ll have to worry about. But I just can’t avoid those 2-3 percent.

I do see a noticeable difference in loading time of sites between IE and Safari, but not so much with Firefox and Safari. The one thing I miss when using Safari is the F6 hotkey to get to the URL bar. It works for both IE and Firefox. For the life of me, I can’t find it on Safari.
