8 Random Facts About Me: A Tagging Game

Last month, I did my 1st Weekend Blog Drive-By wherein I dropped by my fellow bloggers’ blogs and read one of their articles. It was a fun and profound experience. I have to admit that it changed the way I look at blogs now. Since then, I’ve been reading some posts about entertainment, celebrities, dating tips, poetry, renewable energy, travel, journals, cultures and even aerospace- topics that I have little interest in. I learned to appreciate these posts because they allowed a different approach to taking a glimpse into a world aside from computers and technology. Somehow, it solidified the idea of my favorite philosopher, Socrates: That what I don’t know, I don’t think I know.

Steve of cymru66 and Cat of UltraJam have been kind enough to tag my blog and I’ll gladly comply. This is a great opportunity for me to explore other blogs once again.

8 Facts About Me that Maybe You Can Relate To

1. If I were a letter, what kind of letter would I be? I’d be an open letter. I like to listen to others and I’d be more than happy to help them if the need be. I do like to befriend others, but only if they aren’t hostile enough. Now you may have realized that I’m a letter that’s difficult to open.
2. When it comes to choosing friends, my standards are high. I’ve been betrayed once, during my childhood days. As much as possible, I don’t want to experience it again.
3. I don’t drink and/or smoke, not because I can’t. I choose not to.
4. I’m a simple guy, largely influenced by the underground music genre I learned to love. I despise people with a hot-rich-and-popular attitude.
5. I only come to parties when it’s absolutely required. Otherwise, I avoid them. Rock concerts are an exception.
6. I have a huge respect for women. My mom died of cancer when I was 9. Afterwards, my big sister was the only woman that I came to know well.
7. I’m allergic to seafoods except fish.
8. I’m a slender guy. I don’t eat much but my favorite dessert is a dried fruit of various plum species. Google it and maybe you can tell me what it is.
