Clear the registry of all WiC references.

Dunno if this helps, but WiC (vanilla, not patches) runs decently enough, with pixel shaders set to high and everything else set to low (allright, benchmark 8fps min, 56 max, 24 avg). Playable. (The rest the comp is a Centrino Duo at 1.66ghz each, 2gb ram (224 for video), 945gm chipset)

i have a quick question.... I moved into a new place and didn't have internet when i installed WiC. It looked like hell and lagged terribly but it ran. I get connected to the net a few days later and when i try to start the game it says i don't have a good enough graphics card!!! what gives? i even uninstalled and reinstalled to see if it worked but it says the same thing. Heck, i even tried playing with the net disconnected and it still said i didn't have a good enough graphics card. I'm lost... any help?

I have tried to play the game, but it acts as if it is loading, the screen flips to black, and then right back to the desktop.....?

I have read each and every post to find out if there was anything i was missing. SO far i have noticed that everyone who posted has at least 128 MB graphics card. Mine on the other hand comes to a amazing 32 MB. Odd thing is, i can play every other game that has a min requirement of 128....very odd.

I have the following specs:

IBM Thinkpad T40 2373-8CU

    * CPU: Intel Pentium M (Banthis) 1.5GHz, 598MHz FSB
    * RAM: 2 x 1 GB SoDIMM, 333MHz
    * GRAPHICS CARD: ATI Mobility Radeon 7500 AGP, 32 MB memory, 32bit
    * MONITOR: 14.1? @ 1024 x 768, 32-bit
    * Operating System: Windows XP SP3
    * DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c

I believe my options are very limited, as i don't think i can upgrade my GPU for a better one (for what i've read, its welded in there). I have PCI card slots, but i dont think i can get a graphics card that will give me the the needed push.

If there are any solutions, something i haven't tried, I'm game for it. I have all the current drivers installed. Im afraid that my 4yr old laptop is just not enough anymore. Any suggestions will be helpful (even if its a "your screwed, man.")

Thanks
