Well, I didn’t notice anything significant when browsing my favorite Web sites. I still see the same layout and nothing seems to be broken most of the time. Since I design Web pages quite often nowadays, I even noticed that the new engine that Firefox 3 is using fixed something that I observed was broken in Firefox 2.0.0.4- floating tables.
Aside from a couple of plugins that I use getting disabled, I would say that I’m enjoying Firefox 3.

I have used Firefox 3 in the past 3 weeks but there is still bugs in it, I guess I will wait for another few months when the dust is settled down then I will install it again, currently I had revert back to Firefox 2.
One of the bugs I found is that I can’t switch the views in hotmail email account.
But since using Firefox 2, I had not been using IE, firefox rocks!

So what’s the killer app with v3 of Firefox? Tabbed browsing made me switch from IE to FF, but I don’t fancy upgrading all those addons I’ve got, sounds like a whole heap of pain.

I’m using it. I’m very happy with it, the new UI is better and FF3 is more stable than FF2. Also FF2 had a bad memory that FF3 has resolved.

Downloaded it - Firefox is a great browser, although I do also like Opera. As a web designer, Firefox is far more standards-compliant than IE (although IE7 is better than IE6). IE7 seems to crash a lot for me, Firefox does what it’s supposed to without fuss. I like it.

I was using firefox 2 still but it forced me to upgrade to Firefox 3. FF3 still have alots of bugs. It;s Java Platform got bugs still. The previous problem with hotmail interface is now solved thou.
I will be using gogle chrome, it’s fast!

yeah…I am a little skeptical as well. Whenever there is a huge craze for one paticular software..it ends up being some sort of secret malware or something. This has happened before with limewire and ccleaner. I’m just saying.

Recent report on RRW (Read Write Web) says that Mozilla contributed 20% of world share in browser market & I am more than happy because I am using that from years. I remember when I first time used that my friends use to tell me that I on wrong path lol

I prefer Firefox to anything else. There are tonnes of ad-ons you can get as well, which make it a whole lot more useful. I´m really not that keen on Internet Explorer… when I used it in the past, I ended up with a lot of viruses on my computer.. not fun! Let´s hope Firefox have many more download days to come.

The thing i liked about it is when you install Firefox 3, you don’t have to worry about losing anything from Firefox 2—history, bookmarks, start page, search engine preference, and even downloads performed in the earlier browser version

I use FF exlusively and a lot of SEo plugins….for me they all work great? I cant believe anyone is having issues. Some third party plugs might not work but thats up to the plug developer!

I’ve been using FF since their very first versions. I think their evolution have been very quick and they have done lots of improvements in terms of security, performance and look. With their plug ins, they leave an open door to new developer to complement the best browser. This is just Great!

Fire fox to me is the best and easiest browser to use. I like the lay out and the way of it. It also takes codes off of pages for you to see if someone has something hidden on a profile or what not. I think that you cannot go wrong at all when you have Firefox as your set browser for surfing the web. But that’s just my two cents so to speak ha-ha

In the previous version of Firefox there used to be an explicit check box in the Tools>Options section for opting out of Google Safe Browsing. I don’t see this check box anymore in Firefox 3.0.

It really depends on what you are looking for in a browser. Internet Explorer has been around for ages, and has the full support of Microsoft behind it. It is sleek and powerful, but on old(ish) computers that may slow you down a bit. Still, as the standard browser, you won’t find many other negatives with it.

I just now read in the wikipedia about the people of brazil who flooded orkut, created spams, etc. I was very much confused if they even know the name of the hackers who do thiis then why dont they catch them. Are they not allowed to catch this people or we are allowed to create spams, etc in the social networking sites? Please help me in this confusion….

hey i have downloaded the latest version that is 3.07 . Its has the minor bugs fixed which weer there in Firefox 3.0 . Firefox 3 is a good improvement from its predecessor Firefox 2.0 i liked the new version and there is talk that the next version would have private browsing. on any given day Firefox is better than lousy IE. your blog template is good post about some new blog templates if u can

I had tried Firefox3.0, although there is still bugs but it works like a charm. I like the new interface of the browser, makes life a lot simpler.

When I downloaded version 3.0 it was the first time I had used Firefox. I wanted to test that my websites displayed correctly, as more and more of my visitors are using Firefox. Now I’m hooked, there are so many useful, free plugins for Firefox, I hardly ever need or want to use IE now.
In fact I’ve gone full circle, I use Firefox as an everyday browser and IE just to test my sites display correctly. MS will need to do something special to move me back to IE.

I´m really not that keen on Internet Explorer… when I used it in the past, I ended up with a lot of viruses on my computer.. not fun! Let´s hope Firefox have many more download days to come.

I’m also not so keen on Internet Explorer so I’ve downloaded the new versio of Firefox. Firefox3 has some bugs, but it also has quite a few improvements when comparing with the very first version. I’ve been using it for a while now and I must say that I’m really satisfied with it. So thumbs up for Firefox.
